What a grand celebration on the school turf for 3 days from 26th to 28th October. More than 1,100 alumni returned to their alma matter.
Not many turned up from J-11. Less than 20. Some of the friends whom I met are Fathil Shariff, Fadzil Abdul, Ramli Abdullah, Dr Zakaria Taib, Wahab Ikhsan, Mohamad Bahadon, Razak Bakar, Shahrin Mokhtar, Yusoff Othman, Yusoff Ahmad, Wan Shuib, Dr. Yahya Ahmad, Halim Amri, Rahmat Tambi, Dr Radin & Azizan Yahya.
I was hoping to see many more, but it was not to be. Maybe others have their own commitments.
It was more than 40 years since we set foot in the school. We were young kids then. Today, most of us are not only the father but many are becoming grandfather more and more day by day.
Then not to forget our friends who have gone before us to meet Allah the Creator. Among them are Ismail Lebar, Bongsu Asimi, Nawarwy Hassan, Fauzi Alias, Zahrin...
My good friends Azmi and Nawawi Omar are facing challenging time. To them I offer the doa for recovery.
Time is zooming past us. Only the memories, good or otherwise, will accompany us during this twilight zone of ours.
